SCHOOL OF SPIRITUALITY

The School of Spirituality founded by Pier Franco Marcenaro in 1974 was created to impart teachings of universal and ecumenical* nature of the highest form of meditation, that leads to knowledge of oneself and knowledge of the divine manifestation.

Such meditation has been defined with different names through the different ages and places, as “Way of the Masters”, “Science of the Soul” or “Path of Spirituality” and today it is known as “Universal Meditation”.

It concerns the discipline on which were based, at their origin, all the main religions and philosophies that gave human being a sure answer to the desire to know its spirit and God.

This leads in turn to love for the entire creation and a condition of beatitude and peace, that cannot be realized with any other knowledge.

Universal Meditation is based on the solid ground of the experience of Divine Light and Sound, accomplished by the Mystics and Masters of the main religions and by their disciples, like on the day of Pentecost, when the Divine Spirit manifested to the Apostles as flaming Light and the Sound of celestial wind (Acts 2:1-4).

Through the ages this experience has been imparted by the maximum Masters of the spirit, like Christ and the Fathers of Christianity, Buddha, Shamas Tabriz, Kabir and Nanak.

Among the most recent ones there were Hazur Sawan Singh, the great Saint of Beas, and Sant Kirpal Singh (1894-1974), who for a long time covered the role of President of the "World Fellowship of Religions", which included representatives of all the main religions of the World.

At present, this experience is imparted by Pier Franco Marcenaro, considered by thousands of seekers from all over the world a Master of Spirituality and life of the highest order.
